Breakout: Raynardo Williams
Raynardo Williams was living the American dream, in an executive position at one of the top financial groups in the midwest. Until he realized that finance wasn’t his dream at all. So, the man friends and family affectionately call “Nardo”, decided to dream even bigger and walk away from 11 years in corporate America to invest in himself. Williams was fortunate enough to have walked away with not only his style, but enough savings to get him over the hump and the business savvy to start Nardo Wardrobe Consultants.
Williams now spends his days with clientele providing such services as personal shopping, photo shoot and fashion show styling and production, along with closet take-overs and presentations. He also does store merchandising, event planning and project management.
“I learned a plethora of great things from working in corporate America,” said Williams, who also holds a BS in Business Administration and an MA in Management from Hamline University. “I could have easily worked for another consulting company but I knew, ultimately, I wanted to work for myself. I wanted to be the one who set the direction of the company and the one to determine the culture of the company. I wanted to set the customer service standard Nardo Wardrobe Consulting would provide. Basically, I just wanted it to be mine!”
