Developing a robust contact list is important; however it is even more essential that you develop, nurture and maintain your relationships. What’s the point of having a stack of business cards if you NEVER use them?!

P.S. Make notes in your Career Journal and include the following information:

  • Name of the person you contacted
  • Company
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Date you emailed/called (include the purpose of outreach if applicable)
  • Outcome of outreach
