Colgate-Palmolive sponsors a number of events such as the Colgate Women’s Games (the nation’s largest amateur track series open to all girls from elementary school through college) and the Haz la U Scholarship Program, which offered a $15,000 educational grant and 10 $2,500 college scholarships for Hispanic-American students. Four out of 10 members of Colgate-Palmolive’s board of directors are women or people of color, including Helene D. Gayle of CARE USA; Delano Lewis of New Mexico State University; Ellen Hancock, former president of Jazz Technologies Inc.; and Joseph Jimenez of Novartis AG.
